Hermann is a picturesque German Community offering Old-World hospitality and the quiet charms of an earlier time. With an abundance of spectacular views, more than 150 historic buildings, quaint inns, and B&Bs, world class wineries, museums, shops and galleries, and fine dining, Hermann is the perfect place for a weekend retreat. Enjoy the "Charisma of the Geography" that endears Hermann to both residents and visitors alike. It is a perfect getaway not far from home! A Taste for the Arts will be held Saturday, June 6, and Sunday, June 7, 2009. The event is free and open to the public and will feature fine arts, fine crafts, and food, all made in Missouri. The Missouri Artisans Association, better known as The Best of Missouri Hands, is coordinating the weekend of activities which is being made possible by a grant from The Dierberg Foundation. All events will be held rain or shine. A variety of food and beverage options will be available for sale throughout the festival. |
